Snap pads hit UK stores

Posted on October 13th 2007

Snap bouldering mats and accessories are now in stock at several outdoor stores for their first season on sale in the UK. Snap is the second brand to be taken on by Newcastle-based the County Climbing Company, who also import E9 clothing. Snap pads were first develpoed in France in 1996 with the goal to 'promote the development of rock-climbing and fulfil climbers requirements as much as possible by manufacturing innovative and stylish products'. Since then they have been very successful in their home country. The local stockist for the North-East is Sunderland Climbing Centre.
