Bowden Doors

Area Description

Once one of the most majestic crags in the country, Bowden has sadly suffered from erosion and its own popularity. It cannot be denied that Bowden's boulder problems are superb. That said however, the rock quality of much of the crag falls short of many places and once its hard outer shell is broken, the rock underneath is crumbly and soft. There are better venues in the county but unfortunately none with such easy access as this.
